Ignition replacement (1 Viewer)

Any tips on replacing the ignition switch on a 75 fj40? Thx

Where to? should be straight forward, just 4 wires I think. are you going to use a generic one from a parts store?

Easy, pull the plactic cover off of the steering column (4 screws I think) and then undo the ignition switch (one screw)... put the new one in, swap the plugs... easy as that (20 mins. tops)...

Don't use a cheap aftermarket one... the Toyota ones last forever and keep your harness clean...

I mean'nt the keyed side of the ignition. Thx
