So I left my ignition on the 70 40 at aux so I could charge up my cell phone while I was at work. I have done this before with no problems. This last time the coil crapped out and my new points are toast. I suppose the points were closed so there was a flow of power through the coil and points and over the couple hours the phone was plugged in fried it (just my thoughts,would my assumption be correct) I have rewired direct to battery and reruited my other extras out of the ignition line. Just thought I would share my experience this week as to possibly save someone else from the stranded experience I have just had.
