I'm not sure how or what we call this, but I always start my LC 100 with just a forward twist after inserting the key and it will crank and turn on, instead of the usual turn key and hold there a second or two to crank. But today it did not behave as it has been for the past decade, it still started but took an extra second or two, is it the starter dying? Or something else? Battery seems good because it is less than two years old...no other strange things noticed.

Crank hold feature, maximum time is based on Coolant temp. If -22F, it'll crank up to 25 seconds.
