Igloo Glide Roller Premium 104L Cooler

I saw this cooler at Costco for $89.99. It seems a little large but what do you wall think of it for shorter expedition use? If I was going out for a week or more, I'd get an ARB fridge. But for the long weekend or 4-5 days, I think this would fit the bill. At 104L, I think it'd even make a decent water tank.

Features/observations:

• Stainless Steel hinges and latches.
• Double lid holders.
• Handles seem sturdy
• Metal bolts hold it together.
• Foam grip on handle.
• Fish scale.
• No cup holders.
• Drain plug but no gasket on drain plug.
• Rubber wheels.
• sealed pretty tightly.
• UV protected.
• Plastic handle latches.
• The black handle pulls out.

That seems pretty nice for the money.

I'm in need of an upgrade from my steel belted coleman. I'm pretty set on buying the 70qt Igloo Cube.

I called Igloo to see if they have a tray that sits higher up in the cooler, since it looks like it has ledges for one. They said they no longer make trays for their cooler which is kind of disappointing.

I have 100qt coolers. They are great for hot weather. You can put everything in them and keep it ice cold for 3-4 days even in 100 degree heat. You just need to pre-chill everything. Next time I will get an extreme coleman.

Agreed. That's the only reason I haven't bought it. I wish it was more like 50qts

Just picked this up at Costco....not really that big at all considering what it holds....super nice cooler....cant hold your stuff inside? Get a roof rack or a trailer. I switch between the two depending on where I'm going. Its about the size of two Igloo ice-cubes side by side....I hated the ice-cube, my ice would melt in one day, no ice for cocktails....this says 6-day cooler so we will see how it performs, again really nice cooler.

Oh, and the slide out handle has locking tabs...really solid ....i'll post pics on the size in back of my 60 and 80 when I get home.

The 60 is with the rear seat folded down. My 80 has the rear seats removed (no one sits there anyway) and I have built a platform to flatten things out.....
