I read the Idle up switch threads-- just one question I am not clear about-How much Dextron do you lose switching out the switch without draining the system? I know speed and dexterity play a big part- but can it be done without complete draining of the hose.
Due to the startup puff of smoke, my truck seems to have just developed, I would like to change it out before I get to the steering rack change out which may have to wait until next spring.
I am sure whatever the amount of fluid loss, I will be having to perform a lock to lock air bleed of the system.
