Hey guys, trying to sort out an electrical problem and I think I’ve identified the problem, just have no idea what to search for in terms of replacement. I’m looking for the white cylinder before the fusible link. It goes:

Battery -> white cylinder -> fusible link

I’ll post a photo of what I’m talking about. Thanks

It’s just a wire connection plug that has corroded and overheated because of the corroded contacts- which is melting the plastic.
Any heavy duty DC wire plug can be used to replace it.

I’m looking for the top white male piece that then connects to battery terminal. Not fusible link itself

I have a Repair KIT Battery Side ALL made up and Ready to ship

it is NOT as simple swapping a wire ?

Also, do you think that could be the culprit of some electrical issues? I’m having trouble maintaining battery charge. Pulled the alternator and it’s fine. Battery is about 3mo old

Beautiful. Thanks Matt!

Your welcome

Let’s get to the harness side repair plug connector pigtail now once you strip back several inches of the main harness tape and or loom jacket

So we can indeed confirm and verify NO more melted 3 large guage wires

Red

White

Black

As close to fire 🔥 wall as we can possibly get ?

This is a mission critical step not to be over loooked

It does not cost money in parts minus some elec tape and new split loom

But we must know

THIS IS the WAY
