For me, 30 lbs of the rice grain sized dry ice pellets was just the right quantity for this project.
Although, I didn't remove the material over the wheel wells, so maybe a little more for a full job?
I didn't think through how to hold the pellets against the vertical pieces, so just kind of made it up as I went along. There's probably a much better way to do that part.
I took out three 5 gallon buckets of sound deadening pieces...
I think WD-40 may work as a solvent for any remaining tar stuff, but that's a project for another day.

I can't remember what I used in Riyadh. I don't think anything too aggressive was available so maybe carburetor cleaner or maybe even something as benign as mineral spirits. You can always use a heat gun and plastic spatula on any relatively solid pieces but you need some kind of solvent to get the residue off.
