* Delegates:
** CI4WI: Matt McVicker
** JOCCI: Jeff Gilbert and Coleman Young

Treasury Report: $3272.62
Jim Obradovich, Association Lobbyist
* Jim Shanks and Bob Rees met with him in May. Have not heard back from him to date.
* In May, Mr. Obradovich reported he had discussed the lack of a full-sized park with Richard Leopold, the current Director.
Club Events
* JOCCI
** was in the WDSM and Norwalk parades.
** Invitational at The Farm.
* Tallcorn Cruisers off-road event Aug 22nd-24th. IA4WDC Board of Directors are invited to join in. Registration is on their Web site, due by Aug 1st. $80 for the three days, includes camping. www.tallcorncruisers.org.
* CI4WI:
** had a trip to Flat Nasty in the Ozarks.
** Sept 10th event at Castana, IA. Details available at www.ci4wi.org. $85 for non-members.
** Porky's meet-ups the last Friday of each month.
MW4WDA
* Budget discussions taking place on the e-mail list.
* For 2007, they were about $700 in the black.
* For 2008, they project they will be about $2000 in the black.
* Fall convention will be in October. Keep an eye on www.m4wda.org for details.
Elite Auto Customization
* Do a lot of stereo and custom work. Looking to do more serious off-road modifications, though.
* Hold a diesel night at Porky's every now and then.
* Willing to sponsor events, offer discounts, help us promote.
* Proposed meeting with the owner, Steve Starrett, over lunch or at a club meeting.
* When Porky's closes, Rookies is a possible alternative.
* Target September for a Fall 4x4 night. If that goes well, plan for more of these next year.
* Talk about building an RTI ramp.
Nominations for 2009 Board
* Only two meetings left this year, so time to start collecting nominations!
* Positions are:
** President
** VP
** Secretary
** Treasurer
Land Acquisition
* Discussed possibility of getting some dealerships to work with us. For example, a pass for entry into a park with the purchase of a new 4x4 vehicle.
* Right now, our main focus has been finding a county or community which would be interested in establishing a park.
Community Services
* Start a committee to explore and set up service events?
* Art Schramm named as committee chair. Jim Shanks and Coleman Young volunteered to assist.
Iowa State Fair Parade
* Parade is August 6th.
* Entries were due by July 9th, but they allow for late entries for $10 more.
* Delegates voted unanimously in favor of the $30 parade entry.
* Coleman Young will fill out and send in the form.
