Hi, I had the same problem as you. I got my 74 with the Keep Slant shacles like yours. IT rode like s***, it bump steered had no drop and would not flex because the shacles were verticle. The boys at ATEB advised me on anti inversion shackles from OME they work awesome on road and off. I already mentioned that in a previous post when your 73 was on the boat. Why bother with 60 series pitman arms when your lift should work, but if your shackles are verticle it will ride like **** they should be"kicked out at the bottom" just another fellow 70 series owner like you trying to help.

Aaron, fwiw the "old" Emus gave enough lift that without a winch/bumper combo up front the (emu anti inversion) shackles were pretty much vertical too. My 70 needed the drop arm to ease the bump steer.
Even with my springs being sagged from the winch/bumper combo now the drop arm still helps. We aren't talking about a HUGE drop here.

Your 74's looking good man!

well I want to thank you guys ... He is what I am going to do .. I am getting some custom steering arms made and putting on the 60 pitman arm . And I am going to shim the front so that I can change the caster ..
