You will have to call it Landcruiser Park ,like the aussie one;)

LOL!!

Land Cruiser Park...

lets see we have about 100 Land Cruisers in Ontario (rough guess) and most of the guys i have chatted with think a 2 hour drive is a LONG drive... i doubt it would succeed very well...

but

i could call it Crushers World (Wayne's World knock off).

They have a great set up there. I was watching a DVD about it the other day. Its a working cattle station and has been in the family for 50 years.
They have 200 klms of trails:eek:open to visitors and you can camp anywhere.
There is also mud pools you can swim your cruiser through(when the drought breaks)
Its a drive but I may check it out next year.

A 2hr drive is too far in a cruiser:eek: Thats what cruisers are good at.

Have a look at this video - The guy really knows what he is doing, and has much bigger cajones than I do.. Very impressive driving.

Its is impressive, he really knows where those wheels are, and it looke like it was raining as well!!
You would have to shorten your truck as well Rosco, does'nt look like its something flatdecks would do very easily. Twn lockers sure maaake a difference in atruck, especially when it comes to that wheel lifting lark.

Cheers

Well they dont call me roscoFJ73 for nothing you know:D The 75/79 series would need some working over but they come up nice and are more stable in certain situations than the MWB

i know a few guys that have driven well over 40 hours each way to go wheeling, Peter, Bruce, Marc and others...
for me ihave only done a couple runs where it took days to get there and wheeled for a day then days to get back...it was worth it. you get to meet some great guys this way, as well as see some contry you normally wouldn't.

mud holes would have to have water pumped in since the "Oceans and Fisheries" control ANY body of water. if silt is pushed into the streams then you will be shut down. they are a very unballance group that have the right to pack guns (unheard of here in Canada) and can swing a huge bat. They have the tree huggers behind them, the government...they are the EVIL Gods of the wild.

With you there on that. Ive had a bit to do with other 4WDs, there is nothing better when it comes to hills than a 70 series flatdeck, up or down. Just wish the new V8 had the same engine breaking as the 1HZ, it was just great. Looks like the Cruiser in the Video was the same trusty 1HZ.

What???? Wow....I thought that only existed here. They are trying to shut Tellico down for the same damn reason.

the goal of the sierra club is to shut the entire east face of the rockies from the mexico border to the Yukon...
Ocean and fisheries are a bunch of unballanced individuals that "think" they are doing their job...but without common sense working with them. they really are the EVIL Gods of the wild.

I thought the Yukon was west of the Rockies?

But what do I know? I'm an engineer.

One thing I like about ARB's is the ability to turn them off and wheel open. Challenging, and your insurance is a button away....

and the ability for ARB to freeze up when you need them... damn good stuff that (for someone else)

Freeze up? I´ve never had freezed ARBs and we like -30 celsius cold here, dude...:D
Loose that water from the hoses, one good thing with ARBs is that IF you managed to crack it from inside, it wont harm differentials, CASE CLOSED :grinpimp::grinpimp:

i have never had the ARB locker freeze up, it is others here that have...i won't run the pieces of s***.

i like the auzzi locker, the factory elec are nice but driver skill is the best

and for strickly off road a lincon locker is real hard to beat...
