Hi everyone,
The radiator on my 1996 Nissan Maxima is leaking and it needs to be replaced. I found many listings on ebay for radiators for around $50.00 (all from the same company, I guess they have many in stock). I am leary of spending only $50.00, it seems like it is too go to be true. Should I be nervous?

Thnaks,

Check radiators.com. Call the number, get a quote, don't even deal with that stupid on-line drone thing.

Bought a radiator from them a couple of months ago for a '94 V6 pickup. Decent quality, I think it was $130. It was hand delivered to my house 2 hours after I ordered it, for $4.

I replaced the radiator in my 1999 Maxima with one from RadiatorBarn.com. Fit was perfect and I've had no issues with it. I just priced one at their site for your car at $126.XX.

I also have a RadiatorBarn 3 core in my 85 4Runner - fits and works fine.

I wouldn't use a $50 radiator - that seems too good to be true.

My dad bought a radiator from radiators.com and it the price was great and product was excellent. His mechanic even said the quality was there... and plans to use them in the future vs. his current source (higher cost).

I've found nothing matches OEM for longevity except possibly custom made. And that is usually no saving. It depends on what long term is worth to you. For most something of decent quality that will last a few years is a better deal as most people turn their cars over fairly quickly.

Got a link to the listing? I've bought radiators locally from a supplier in the 60-80 dollar range and never had a problem with those.

It all depends on the manufacturer.
