There is one that's nearly identical that lives in my neighborhood. The owner also has a beautifully restored flat fender (CJ2A?)

Also one in town here. It was converted to a tow truck of all things. I talked with the owner and he has changed out almost everything except the body to make it work.

"Fun" is going down a steep incline in a Forward Control Jeep. You have a bad feeling you're going to go ass-over-teakettle any moment.

Here is a picture of my dad's (with my daughter trying to climb out). His is a 1963 with a stake bed. I think he bought it for less than $500 and has gotten offers to buy it for a few times the amount he paid. I used to drive it quite a bit when I was in high school and college. With the 5.?? diff gears and 215/75R15 tires he had on at the time, top speed was ~45mph. I love that thing.

Those things are cool. But they redefine slow with the little I4 engine and low gearing. My Dad had one WAY back in the day.

Do a search for FC Jeep - all kinds of stuff out there.
