hi im new to this forum i have a 1997 toyota land cruiser and diff lock will not disengage if anyone can help me out i would appreciate it thank you

Keep it low gear on the transfer shifter. Speed less than 10 mile per hour, go forward and make wide “S” like turns on gravel like road, not pavement. May work on pavement too without damage if you are careful. You can also try alternating forward and reverse while in low gear.

Check tire pressures to make sure they are even.

Check your wheel bearings to make sure they are tight (properly adjusted)

Steer back and forth and off the throttle while it is trying to disengage.

Heat helps. Put a space heater under there for a few and then try all the aforementioned methods and it should unlock.
