In the 2013 there is nothing next to the cabin air filter.

In the 2013, there is no Nav DVD, updates are performed only by the dealer through the USB port.

What year is your LC?

He must have 08-12 LC. The nav DVD is not for updates, the nav software resides and runs off of the DVD.

2011. If it is the nav DVD, how do you get it updated ?

^^ That would be the NAV DVD. The 2013s run off a hard drive in the entertainemnt / nav system. Contact your local dealer (or hit up cruiserdan on Mud for a MUD discount) and buy the update DVD.
