- Started stripping the truck, going to remove most of the panels to have a quality paint-job done.
- Removed the old tent fabric, having a new tent made with bigger windows and better quality fabric.
- Removing the wood from the rear and giving it a nice coat of boat varnish.
- Openend up the whole for a second side-window.

Continued stripping the dashboard, it really needed a clean after 22 years.. Replacing some of the vents, electrics and adding a double din frame for a carplay radio. Also managed to buy a nice bumper, snorkel and front gril.

Did not do a lot today, removed the remaining body parts in the back. Some bad rust in-between the rubbers (as expected). Also removed the camperunit from the car so I could finish sanding. Hope to get it sprayed at the end of the week.

Following! Very cool project! I like the look with the windshield out. Kinda looks like you need to mount a few Lewis guns and go raid an airfield.

When I bought the truck I noticed some water under the matt on the drivers side, I assumed it was a bad door rubber or maybe some water coming in through the electrical cables underneath the hood. This was not the case, the left front door was not the original door. With some help from some fellow members on this forum I now have a door that fits.

Brought the truck to the paint-shop, getting ready to spray the camperunit in the upcoming week. The cruiser needs some bodywork done before being ready for a new fresh paintjob.

Sprayed the camper with raptor liner, the color is 416 dune beige, classic color! Hope to get the truck sprayed later this week.

Getting rit of rust, one of the downsides of the UTE. The rubbers in-between the window frames in the back and front keep moist in which results in.... rust.

While I am waiting to get the car back from the paint-shop to start the reassembling process, I decided to give some of the old/rusted parts a new coat of paint.
