Hydraulic lifters for a 2F?

On a casual conversation a friend mentioned you can get hydraulic lifters for a 2F engine and never have to do a valve clearance job again.

True ??

I personally think NO, since the oil bore to the lifters would have to be different.
Can anyone confirm (or otherwise) this to be right or wrong.

But he claims it's a aftermarket available.

that is not true

There's no pressurized oil anywhere near the lifter bores, so no easy way to add hydraulic.
Though the lifters are standard American .990 size.
