I have a '91 and I just pulled my dash out to do a few things. One of the things I mean to do is replace the bulbs in the climate control. There are two 74 series bulbs in there. I tried LEDs and they were too bright/focused for the clear light diffuser in the climate control module.. The little green plastic condoms that cover the bulbs tore when I was trying to remove them. Does anyone either know where to get incandescent bulbs that are green, new rubber bulb caps, or LEDs that aren't obnoxiously bright or too pinpoint? Thanks for any help!

Mine came with the green rubber caps. Did you order the Toyota replacements or buy them at the auto store?

Stick with halogen, I did the same thing...switched all indicators, dash, hvac all that with LED. Then went back to halogen, much better light.

Try this site for what you might need. I ordered from them too.
