I have a curled up deformed pair of custom fit, molded Husky mats. I read on mud how good the warranty from them is so I tried to get a replacement. They do have a lifetime warranty, but I was under the impression it was for my lifetime. Turns out it was for the lifetime of the model. They don't make front mats for our trucks anymore. As a result they can only replace my form fitting mats with flat mats. Not exactly the same thing.

Thats pretty stand up of them. They dont make the mats anymore, what else do you want them to do?
Most company's would leave it at that.

What caused you to claim floor mat failure? Husky liners were one of the first things I put in my 100 after being happy with their product in several other vehicles. I think I've had the same husky liners front middle and rear for about 8 years now...

With all due respect, a request for refund seems greedy (me-me-me generation-ish) to me. A replacement for an out of date warranty (read expired/unnecessary) is above board and why they have a good reputation.

Edited for clarity.

Although it's unfortunate that they don't produce front mats anymore, I agree, a refund is out of line for a warranty.

Don't know how it can be considered greedy to ask for replacement under a lifetime warranty....I have not yet expired. I certainly don't want a refund. I was just letting the mud members know that they'll be out of luck looking for replacements under their as claimed lifetime warranty. Not sure what I would expect the company to do under the circumstances, possibly offer a different equal value product for maybe a different car if not produced for the original one. Perhaps that is still an option. For the record the reason I'm asking for warranty replacement is that the mat is so badly curled that it can't hold any water and doesn't really serve its original purpose. It also curls into your feet on the pedals and is at a minimum a nuisance and possibly a hazard.
