Howdy.
I've been lurking for awhile thought I ought to join.
I recently bought an ok condition '78 FJ40.

I don't know a lot about working on vehicles but I've decided to learn with this one.

It runs.
The rust it had was either Bondoed or sprayed with primer. So it's ugly.

I was doing about 40 mph the other day and it switched lanes all by itself...

So...I read and downloaded a post here about 4 things that typically go wrong with FJ40 steering and how to check them. (I don't "know" folks here yet so the poster's handle escapes me - but thanks). I think it was probably the steering stabilizer because mine was dented and bent. I ordered one from OME... not in yet.

So anyway - thanks for the opportunity to learn and ask questions.

pics man,we need fj porn. oh ,welcome:flipoff2:

Can someone point me to the "how to post pics" link? I looked in FAQ and didn't see it (which doesn't mean it's not there, mind you)

and hey - :flipoff2: :flipoff2: right back at y'all :)

Search Posting Pictures.

The way I do it:

Using Windows XP

1. Download Camera to computer.
2. Find picture.
3. Right click File.
4. Select send to email (or somethign like that).
5. Prompt asks for Profile. Choose Outlook.
6. Promt: Asks to make poictures smaller. Click Yes.
7. Email window pops up. Right click file in attachment line.
8. Save as document.
9. This will allow you to save it in the documents, which will be a much smaller file than the file you already have in "My Pictures".
10. On the IH8MUD thread window click on the "paper clip".
11. Click "Browse" Find the file in "My Documents".
12. After files are listed click" Upload".

This process does not take long. There are lost of threads out there that can walk you through this better than I can.

Good Luck & Welcome.

Okay, let's see...
