general purpose relays generally work the same way.
- normally open load side contacts
- apply power to the coil to close the load contacts
If unsure just bench test by applying voltage to coil terminals in either direction to see which way closes the relay
Occasionally a relay is in a normally closed configuration but this is rare in my experience.
