Auto fold mirrors were added as past of the 2016 refresh I believe, unless it wasn't added until 2018 for some reason. You would have a button near your left knee on the dash.

auto fold on lock was added in 2018 for the LC. if we (2018+) keep the mirror switch in the middle, the mirrors fold when the vehicle is locked.

Not sure if this is general knowledge, but if the key fob battery is dead (or even removed) you can still start the vehicle by holding the fob up to the start button before pressing.

If you have the side mirrors fold in when the vehicle locks, you can visually give a quick check to see if it’s locked.

On the Land Cruiser you put the mirror control switch to the left and leave it there.
