How to turn Pre- Heat on for My Bj74 ?

I just bought 1988 Landcruiser Bj74 and i m trying to figure it out how to get Preheat on for 13bt ?

There is no need. Uses a glow screen, won't see the light until about 0C or lower. The system will operate at spring/summer temps but the idiot light won't go on (look for the voltage drop for the first 30 seconds after start up).

Glow screens don't work very well on IDI engines - you need the heat in the precups.
