try pulling the Daytime Running light fuse? I guess the brake light fuse too?
I love this idea. Give it to me with a button or a switch and you've got at least 1 buyer.

Thanks, I Might have to see about integrating that as a blackout drive switch. I probably won't mess with the brakes for safety reasons. The second feature would be IR LEDs for moonless nights.
pretty sure blackout switches if it extends to brake lights for non leo or non military vehicles is illegal for those that care

Nothing too fancy. Gen3 GP RNVGs on a TW Bump.
I was able to turn my drl off by first turning on the lights (I usually leave them on “on”) when the car is running and then turning off the lights. This left the drl off. Upon startup, it will go back to drl running. Literally cycling on off.
Shooting a gun out of a vehicle, otherwise known as a form poaching, is a majorly jail-able offense in most states, even on your own property. If this is your plan, another plan should be in store for your time away, like asking what trickle charger to buy…fwiw if that’s your plan.

I recall a post years ago with this same question (I looked and couldn't find it) but it didn't provide an elegant solution as I recall.
There's other positive use cases for this (driving into camp at night) to be considerate of others. I'd appreciate the ability to do that.

Agreed. My 2- stroke DRLs and my low beams are still too bright, IMO, to drive around a camp at night.
Yep, I get that. Was just mentioning. When I hear night vision and bump together it makes me think of a gun. I’ve known a few hunters, and rangers and rangers are one of the most powerful enforcement agencies there is so was just throwing a warning.
Were you able to try the sequence I mentioned. It works for me…
