How to measure suspension lift (1 Viewer)

What is the best place to measure an Fj80 to find out how much lift it has and what is the stock measurement for a 1991 Fj80.

Every lift is a little different. You could get a ballpark by measuring from the bottom of the fender to the center of the hub in the front and compare it to a stock one. Can you see a part number on the springs?

i guess if you want to call the natural OEM suspension a measurement of lift.. you could park on level
ground and measure to the top of the wheel well(s)

That wouldn't work if he had larger than stock tires.
