How to Install New Ignition Switch in a 40?

I have a 1977 BJ40 that I want to put a new ignition in. I couldn't figure out how to pop the old one out? Any suggestions/pics?

take cover off column.
place key in switch.
turn to access location.
push straightened paper clip into small hole on top of housing.
pull on the key to slide cylinder out of housing.
