I need to replace a couple of wheel cylinders on a 71 FJ40. I am pretty sure the previous owner changed the axle out at some time. Is there a way of ID'ing the cylinders that are on the car right now. Its nominally a 71 (the odd year) for brake cylinders. But it's got flared fitting at each location and I don't believe that is stock on a 71. I have lost confidence that the cylinders are even installed in the correct location.

I really need some kind of description of which cylinder goes where and what the differences are year to year. I hope some smart guy has put a decoder together. I am baffled.

Thanks
Tacoman
