Looking at some custom axles that are set up for soa. I'm not planning on running 35's so I don't want a 6" lift. What's the formula for an soa that is going to give about a 3-4" lift.

Your axle is 3" in diameter

Your springs are about 2"

A 3" SOA is almost impossible without running the springs inverted at rest..

Your perches are 1/2", at least, on the bottom, then another 1/2" when flipped onto the top.

My SOA with very flat springs, two leafs removed, cut-down perches, low shackle reversal and 45 degree shackles is still a 6" lift.

Why SOA if you're not going to run 35s? Just get a Hell Creek 2-1/2" kit and be done with it.

Run reverse arch springs. Other than that, it's not gonna happen.
