I don't think so. Nothing on the suspension has changed. I did a Prado swap, so list the headlights for the ones that came with the kit.

Looking for an answer too. Swapped to base headlights and would like to kill the blinking light. FSM is showing the module to be up high, drivers side under the dash, and says you have to remove the dash to get to it. I'm guessing this is why no on has a solution...
If you find out, let me know. I've had that freak'n blink'n light on for the last 5 years.

Not bodding well lol. I bought a cheap scope camera thingy. I'll see if I can find it using that.

I took the AFH headlight apart, took the motors / sensors and kept them in the harness, this worked when I tested it out and drove around the block. Just drove 30 min into work and it started flashing. I put all the parts in project boxes on either side, so maybe something came unplugged or?? I'll see.

Haven't tried to locate the module yet. Been jacking with the CANBUS getting the system to send 12v to both sides. This is a pita.

AFS light indicates it is detecting fault in these areas

To solve this issue, you may want to look at the two 15 amp fuses that control the headlights. There might be something in the power feed that can be cut off to eliminate the error in the AFS. But no way to confirm.

If you are using OBD Fusion or Link make sure you connect to Network E to pull codes causing AFS light

I have the same problem on my 13 GX460. The AFS module is beneath the dash behind the brake pedal near the firewall. You just need to remove the small plastic plate that has the tiny amber LED light. It's held in place with one Philips screw. It's pretty far up and the mounting nut is not easy to get to. I replaced this part and still have a blinking AFS light.
I'll check the rear suspension components next.

PLEASE report back! I'd really like to get that light off, some day.

I’ve never seen this resolved by a delete of ECU or sensors but tricking the existing pieces that make up AFS

Are you able to pull codes with Techstream or OBD Link/Fusion?

IMO: Without specific codes pretty much …

My wife recently had our GX460 serviced by the dealer and asked them to look into it. They just said there are components under the car that have probably failed. They have a rough idea on repair but said it could cost more if other items are broken. It sounds like they didn't look into it at all and probably don't want to.

I wonder if they're referring to the leveling components near the rear shocks? I'll have to check those.

So I ordered the rear height leveling sensors RH and LH, and I swear they're not by the rear shocks. Am I crazy? Where the hell are these things? Is there a chance my 13 GX doesn't have these?

I was looking at your previous posts but not seeing anything that shows why you are replacing the leveling sensors.

Are you running a stock vehicle and just unsure why AFS light on?

You could have a failure of one of the motors in the headlight assembly itself as well.

Techstream or OBD Fusion/Link can get you the code of what is causing the light to stay on
