How much grease in the grease cap ? (1 Viewer)

I was tightening up the loose bearings on my 97 FZJ80 (again) and putting everything back together and was wondering how much grease to put in the little grease cap that goes over the axle spindle ? I don't recall what it says in the FSM or if it is even addressed ?

BTW, i've taken Landtank's advice (thank you Landtank) and torqued the adjusting nut to 10lbs as I'm tired of having to retighten the bearings.

(i) Coat inside of the cap with MP grease.

is all it says. I cant remeber if I did that or not.

10 inch pounds or 10 foot pounds? I assuem the later.

I pack it full. A problem on the road will be helped by having enough to get you going. I once packed a new bearing on the trailer when one wiped out, by using the grease from all four caps.
