The titel say it all. I am sick of 80FJ40 leaking all over, I replaced all of the tranny/xfer seals a few years ago and it still leaks. I have found a used unit and will rebuild that one while the bad one sits in the truck. I will be picking up the used unit from a fellow mudder and need to know how much this sucker will weigh. If it is not that heavy I will put it in the back of my 100 or should I use a pick-up truck. I would prefer the 100 b/c I am on a multy day sale trip and prefer the seats in the 100 over the pick-up truck.
THanks

T/C is about 75 pounds. I'd give the tranny about 100-125.

Yep, just drove a tranny/transfer back from Chilliwack this weekend (about 60 miles). No prob, just put down a piece of wood (to make it slide in and out easier) and a tarp and have a buddy to help you get it in/out. it's more awkward than heavy. Cheers.
