I had the valve cover for my 2F powder coated. Now.....surprise surprise, it has a slight warp. You can't see or feel it but I hear a slight click if I push down lightly on the corner. If I press down a little it doesn't make any sound. Have I totally screwed it up or do I need to find another valve cover.? Thanks

Hard to say without any pictures of the valve cover and how straight it is or isn't.

The cork gasket is pretty thick.. I cant imagine you're going to have a problem.

I agree with @duncanrm the gasket is pretty thick. I’d bet it’s okay.

cork? 2F valve cover is rubber
my guess is it will tighten down and seal,

What 3 puppies said. Should be a rubber seal that fits up in channel. If it leaks you could strap two boards to the cover and try twisting the warp out.
