Saw a thread the other day that mentioned Frankenstein and thought I would share.

Currently it has taken 10 rigs to supply parts for the rebuild of my 1982 BJ 60 (I call it a 61 because I put square eyes on her. They made 61's but haven't figured out yet what was the difference). There are parts from the original 1982 BJ as well as 6 other 60's and three 62's

5 speed from an 1985 BJ and transfer case from a 62 are the latest additions.

So how many rigs did it take to save your wagon?

Tony

Thanks to all the Vets on this Memorial day....

Twice that, easily. But I had a head start, I've been assembling mine for 22 years.

Brown ones only 3 BigO's 11 or so now I lost count ;)... My 78 Fj40 every body part was for a different rig

im at about 7 or 8 now i think, and thats just what i know about.

So far only one for the 60, but I call my Mini-truck "Patch" for a reason.....

Do we add the different vehicles as well?

My wagon has a first name its P-A-R-T-S

1. Original vehicle before I got it. (Could have had parts replaced before that don't know)
2. Passenger side fender.
3. Front bumper
4. Rims off of a 80 series
5. A/C compressor pulled from a parts truck
6. Rear deck glass.
7. Driver side rear-half shaft
8. Center vents, new visors, console.
9. Fender vents, replacement windshield (didn't use, cracked on attempt), driver side window crank assembly.
10. Headlight brackets driver side.

Um, so far its 10 different rigs to keep mine going.

I'll have to strip 2 more rigs, and then write a 12 Days of Toyota Xmas song for later this year!

OK, I got to add to the 20 wagons...a Corolla, a Corona, a Cellica, a 4runner, a mini pickup, a Volvo and a couple unknown GM type vehicles.

One. :D
