Hey Cruiser heads......figured I'd do this for fun.

How many miles does your cruiser have on it? Original or rebuilt engine/tranny? Year...etc.

Well I have a 1986 fj60 with 338,000 miles on it. I've had it for about 5 years now. It's got a rebuilt engine that was done bout 280,000, I believe it is the original tranny cause 2nd gear synchro is gone and I'm about to put another stock tranny in it. I love it to death, I've put some hard miles on it but she treats me well. And the engine is all stock.

Look forward ro readin about your cruiser!!

203,071 on my 87' FJ60 when the speedo quit working 2 weeks ago.

All original, runs great, but its getting a complete tuneup this weekend (if the Toyota dealer gets my parts).

1984 fj60 with 165,0000 miles on it. Had the engine rebuilt at 130,000 mile because the PO must have overheated the engine and cracked the head. I've had the truck for about 2 years now and won't trade her for nothing. She has been my DD and I have been "restoring" her slowly (it's not cheap but well worth it).

I love taking her camping and on fishing trips. She's a keeper!

407, 5xx miles. Orig engine, tranny. re-sealed xfer (xfer to tranny seal).
Orig brake drums, rotors, U-joints, etc.

It's my DD and I do off-road , although not down the sheer side of a mountain...yet:)

built 11/85, titles as an 86.

145k, stock engine, stock tranny, transfer case rebuild at 100k (a leak was being fixed and a scavenger stole the t-case right from under the mechanic's nose so he rebuilt one for me)

210k new clutch
new seals at 165k
some bondo
some rust
daily driver

soon to be fixed power steering problem

132k stock 89 FJ-62, untouched and beautiful!

1990 FJ62 170000 miles, all original. Recently sold a 1991 FJ80 with 304000 miles all original.

86 fj60, bought 5 years ago with 92,000, today 107,000

90 fj62, 250,000......runs like a dream.

160,000

probably more...
speedo was not working when i bought it.
1984 fj60

FJ60 produced 10/1986. Titled as an '87.

Undergoing a top end rebuild as we speak.

Aftermarket rust included.

i have aftermarket rust too

98 fj62, 192,something thousand miles. i've only had it about 10 months though

original drive train, new water pump (me), toyota rebuilt starter is acting up (PO) needs a front axle rebuild but i haven't gotten the guts up to tear into it yet

1988 FJ62 original engine and tranny with 214K miles. The engine still has good compression.

1985 60, 220,000 miles, original drivetrain except for the clutch and 2 new ujoints. I have a tick that a valve job didn't cure. Runs strong and I take it on 4-5 hours road trips without a thought.

138,235.....although only 1,100 miles in last two years.

No rebuilds, just some T-case seals. DD for about a year (6mile round trip), been a back-up vehicle for 2 years. New metal in place of rust around rain gutter, paint, lift and tires within last year.

250,050 miles and it works just fine. Although I think at some point in its life It lived under water, Keep finding silty sand in odd places. It loves rain and humidity also, runs better when its wet
