I'm trying to figure fair labor costs for the above job (@ local rates of $90 an hour). Thanks.

Dumping coolant about 15 mins to work up the courage to get wet.
Fan, clutch, belts about 20 mins.
Thermostat about 20 mins when there isn't crap in the way.
Water pump 30 mins.
Remove battery and battery tray about 25mins
Remove radiator is about 30-45 mins. Less time if you don't have a second battery.
Putting everything back I'd say an additional 90 mins.

Well thanks for the quick responses but I got the answer sooner than I expected. It was $400.
That includes $37 in antifreeze and $12 bucks in clamps for the 3 new hoses. Parts were supplied by me - through CDan.

I went with the older copper/brass unit.

So I guess he charged me for about 4 hours.

Yeah Retrofive, it would have taken me two days! LOL

I gave my times given the specific punch list. You start adding "while I'm there" and you can throw a schedule out the window. Doing mods? Good freaking luck. Rent a car :flipoff2:
