Yes, I realize I’m playing a game with my engine’s longevity.
Yes, I realize I should replace the timing belt today.
No, I do not know when the last change was.
With that said? What are you predictions on how long this timing belt lasts? Have you seen worse condition belts last longer? How bad in comparison to other belts is this?

That belt probably has a whole lotta life left in it. Those small cracks on the back side seem to be fairly common. It's the water pump death rattle you should pay more attention to. The life span of the belt is not an issue based on years and years of data from MUD threads.

Carnac the Magnificent says: 27 days, 4 hours, 37 minutes, and 3.5 seconds...

Magic 8 ball says: Ask again later.

Why gamble on an old belt that is past its prime? It's a whole lot easier to take care of as preventative maintenance, than it is to deal with it as an unplanned break down on the side of the road.

This one is 19 years old with 160k miles. It looks similar to yours but the back side of the belt looks brand new.

That is exactly why history has very few recorded events of LX/LC timing belts ever actually snapping. Just one of those semi-overrated OCD maintenance items.
