Hi guys,
So my brother offered me his 2 original Scout 80s. 1 is a 61 and the other is a 67. They are both in pieces but the 67 ran when he disassembled a few years ago. Frame is good as he already welded in repairs, sandblasted and primed. Question is how difficult of a job would it be to build it back up to a weekend cruiser? I would want to keep mostly true to the original as possible. I’m pretty mechanically inclined And figure the Scout 80 is as simple as you can get. Only think is I have a 10 month old at hone so not sure the time I’ll have. Guess I’m asking if I should take the plunge... my fear is I start, sink a few grand into it and never finish.
