I found an old Sirius receiver that has a lifetime subscription. Does anyone know how hard it would be to add this to the stock head unit? I know the easiest option would be try to transfer the subscription but from what I was reading I run the risk of my subscription getting cancelled. My car previously had Sirius with the stock unit and has the antenna on the roof. I also just took out the cd changer if that matters. Thanks for any help.

If you have an FM modulator it will take about minute. Just need to locate a radio station from which to broadcast your SiriusXM unit from. Think you can source one from Wally World if your unit does not have one already built in. If you are looking for a cleaner more OEM looking install then check out companies called Beatsonic and Vias technology. I believe they integrate through the changer port or minidisc port. Hope that helps.
