How do you remove the overhead console to install Ben’s make 1 scangauge mount? (1 Viewer)

Just received my scan gauge mount from Ben. Has anyone published a “how to” on instillation? My search fu returned nothing — though I admit I’m frequently unsure of the correct search terms/names of parts used here. Most importantly in my case is, how do you remove the upper console in the first place? I don’t want to break anything by barging in if someone has already worked out all the logistics.

I have a small writeup here for the overhead SPOD mount, but probably a lot in common. I just went through it so happy to answer questions. The full overhead console pops out with 4 clips. Just use some plastic interior tools to pop it out. Their cheap and make it much easier.

At least on my 03 I had to pry open the Homelink panel and remove one screw first.
