never dealt with a hydrolic clutch before, i had to replce the clutch master cylinder so i am sure there is some kind of process to do this??

anyone offer up some ideas and advice?

a quick way is just to crack your slave cylinder nipple, and let gravity do its job... otherwise grab a one man brake bleeder kit, and follow the instructions. just make sure to remove all the air in the lines...ie keep going till the fluid has no air content at all....

I had my kid on the clutch to depress it, and hold, while I opened the bleeder. Did this a few times until all of the air was out. Really easy and straight-forward process.

As with brakes, just make sure that the clutch operator does not allow the clutch to release before you close the fitting.

yep. easy peezie.

just did this yesterday - way easy! Be sure to tighten all fittings very tight and check in a day or two for leaking. With new master done I was fine for a day, then very small leak - mostly when clutch was depressed. Retightened and will watch.

Hope you got a good one. Certain sources have been known to sell masters which come crapulous from the factory.

Could you please PM me if this also applies to the slave assembly as well; I would rather not state where I got mine, which may be on your list, so at least I am prepared.

EDIT: Hijack over.
