Has anyone tried to pull out the rear section of the exhaust pipe? I got it all unbolted and I'm having trouble 'snaking' it out from above the crossmember right above the rear diff. Can it be pulled out in one piece or does it have to be cut?

I don't have a definitive answer on getting it out, but mine's slightly bent and I lay under there thinking it was not possible. So when it bugs me enough, I'm going to take it to a muffler shop to do it.

I've never removed mine, but I think you get a fair amount of maneuvering room by jacking up the diff and placing jackstands on the body, then lowering the diff so that your wheels hang down. The same operation as doing a coil spring change.

got it, had to jack up the body and let the rear diff hang, then manuver it out. Definately a two man job though. thanks for the help.

Why didn't you just cut it?. It's more fun that way! You could of practiced carving the turkey on the exhaust. LOL
