How do I properly install intake/exhaust manifold? (1 Viewer)

Should I bolt the two together at the heat riser tightly and then against the head?

Or

Do I bolt them to the head and then bolt together at the heat riser?

Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks.

Loosely bolt the manifolds together, torque them to the head, then tighten them together.
