I can't take credit, it is right in the instructions
I bought my adapters from Downey OR back in 2006.
My instructions were of the verbal kind...
Glad to hear they have this on hard print...!!
Looks right at home
Wow!! I just got on this thread today -- I'm the last previous owner of this 62 and this is amazing to watch (although really tough on the emotions!). Can't wait to see more, great work!
P.S. If you happen to find a little stone turtle the size of your thumbnail down in some nook - my 5 year old daughter would gladly pay shipping
Is that a marks adapter?
It is an Advanced Adapter
Front clip getting prepped to go back on.
@NCFJ - Looking fwd to some updates !
subscribed. I'll be calling you when I win the lottery this weekend.
Subscribed. Please post an estimate for the job, so I can quit counting my pennies and just enjoy the thread.
You would not mind sharing those lotto numbers would ya?
Shoot me an E-mail if you'd like a quote on a specific swap.
Knee deep in wiring All the OEM wiring gets stripped of nasty old loom and tape, lots of dirt and oil. All un used wiring is pared back and the clipped end gets a piece of heat shrink to protect it. The balance is all cleaned up, taped, and split loom. These harnesses will be tucked inside the fenders.
It is starting to look like a 62 again. I see a lot of wiring in the future
Just when you think all the blasting and painting is about done, oh yeah the headlight buckets and radiator supports. There are a few more items left, almost there
Never fails does it Stan... Been there too many times.
Beautiful work Stan! Can you give me a part # for the right oil filter for that LS oil pan you showed earlier in the thread?
Thanks much guys
Custom Speed Hut Gauges
Would love to get the details on those gauges!
The owner of the truck purchased the gauges. Perhaps he will post up here when he sees this.
