What are those two rubber hoses that attach to the transmission dipstick/filler pipe just below the highest bolt mount?

I had some ATF flow out of one of them the morning after a rather rough ride, and about a week after replacing ATF... could it be overflow?

OK, thanks.

Now, what would make ATF come pouring out?

The day before I pushed the tranny quite a bit at high revs, downshifting and keeping it in 1st on long steep climbs. So some sort of pressure build-up? Though why high revs would affect the tranny I can't see - perhaps it heated up some. No warning light, though.

Second possibility, which could combine with the first, is just last week I changed out the ATF, and perhaps overfilled? Despite a fair bit of ATF spurting out the breather, it's still full.
