Horn Brush question for 69 FJ40 (1 Viewer)

Hi:

I'm trying to get the horn working on my 69 FJ40. Took the steering wheel off and found that the only part missing when I compared it to the Specter Off Road diagram in the horn brush. Problem is, they don't sell that anymore.

Does anyone know what the brush should look like for a 69(the diagram sucks!) and where it is installed?

I had this same issue on my 9/70. I finally fixed it last week by taking a bit of electric fence wire (it is stiff and springy) and crazygluing/screwing it onto the bracket where the brush went originally. I then bent it in such a way to make it brush the contact rim through its little hole. Works great so far!
