I'm getting ready to cruiser crap my hood that has been without insulation for some time BUT i notice that the bonding agent for the hood to the crossmembers is either loose or seperated in several spots. If I'm going to get it quiet I will need to reattach them but HOW? I don't want to spot weld them and eff up the paint what are my options? What have others done? two part epoxy? gorrilla glue ( face it if it's made from gorrilas it's got to be strong rite?) any suggestions would be apreciated. THanks

Most auto paint supply stores carry the right bonding agent that glues the two together. I don't remember which one it was. It's pricey stuff but it is the right stuff. The paint store can tell you which one..... or swing by an auto body shop.
