My Holley Sniper kit has been sitting in the box now for 2 months waiting for the pole barn to get finished…getting close to starting this upgrade so I am mentally reviewing the steps for the install (1975 2F)

for those who have installed one, where on the engine block did you tap-in the coolant temperature sensor and were you able retain the stock sender and gauge? I have not found this detail any where

Some relatively recent info. The block drain is what I used on a friends install. Seemed to work well.

The block drain is what I used also and it seems to work really well. If you've ever had stop leak added to your cooling system then the threads may be clogged with it. What worked well for me was taking a piece of pipe and just threading it in and out until it cleared the threads, if you use a hollow pipe you can squirt water in through it to help clear the threads without having to take the pipe all the way out.
