Hey ih8mudders ,

The Holley Sniper EFI 2300 carburetor is installed and the beast is alive. Does anyone know what throttle linkage and cable would work?

PS: Thank you all for your help on the heat-shield question!

I modified my existing throttle cable on the ‘72. Lokar sells an adaptor end that fits the holley. i’ll see if i can dig up a part number.

Thank you!

Do you have a brand and part # for the extension arm. Also can I use a stock throttle cable?

Holley 20-16

I cut the barrel end off of my stock throttle cable and had to shorten the threaded end. Used the lokar end for at the sniper. Your truck might be different.

@Jdc1 your awesome! This is the only extension arm I could find but its for a Holley 4150 series carb. Is this extension you were talking about?

No worries, there’s a throttle extension arm you’ll want to grab too. it’s about $12 but makes the throttle a little more useable.

Did you buy or build the bracket holding the cable? I am at this point now with my 1970.
We originally had it made locally but had to modify to get it to work properly. It would take about 15 minutes to rough up a homebrew solution and then a little bit more to make it look decent.
