Yes, I'm using Toyota insulator plus riser.

And a drill and tap would work great as the side's of my riser are flat.

I suppose I could add a 8mm or 10mm threaded hole but I think it would be best left to the buyer.

Funny you ask. I’ve been working on my own solution. Parts I’m utilizing:

Mr Gasket 1937MRG
Dashman AD2 (1” tall 2G to 2GC adapter)
