Holes in the top of my 78 windshield frane

Just got some stuff back from media blaster and trying to get it ready for primer. Question is what are these holes in the top ridge of my windshield for. I suspect the really small ones are for an aftermarket soft top and will be closed up. The others are factory and threaded. Don't believe the top connects with those. Help?? Pics attached.

factory soft top channel for threaded. Most likely aftermarket soft top channel was used with machine screws for the little ones. The hard top covers all that so you don't necessarily need to weld the little holes up but they are not factory.
