HJ61, where is best to buy one on our planet?

Hello all, after several BJ40's (still have a '77) I am now looking for the real deal, a good clean HJ61. I see them sparsely for sale in europe, but pretty expensive and mostly rusty and well used. Still for high prices. (8000 for an OK one with rust, 12000 for a decent one, probably still with rust)

Is it worth travelling to Japan to look for one? I'm wanting to take it to the USA, have experience in titling etc.

Jap 61 are RHD ..

Spain have a few 61 in good shape last time I check and I was there couple of years ago .. and it's closer to you

I bought mine from Land Cruisers Direct in Springfield, MO and have been very happy with both my Japanese HJ and with the dealer experience with Steve Jackson. If you intend to title it in the USA, he can find you a good truck.

Probably Finland.
Why? Many HJ's are exported to the Netherlands/Germany/other european countries from here. And i'm not kidding when i say many.
That's actually sad but.. that is the way it is.
